Katherine Whiteheart was born and raised in the mountains of North Carolina, where storytelling was an art form. The history and lore of where she was raised sparked her interest in the paranormal, as well as fantasy. She has been writing mildly disturbing stories filled with love and death since she was a child. She resides in North Carolina with her husband, her sons, her cats, and the family gecko.
